Radkids is a Personal Empowerment Safety Education Program. It is also the only character education, self-esteem building, and anti-violence education program of its kind today. The Radkids program teaches children how to handle our communities four most pressing issues which are:

  • Abduction
  • Bullying & school violence
  • Child abuse & neglect
  • Sexual assault

  • This program doesn’t focus on self defense but rather teaches children the knowledge of how to handle situations they may encounter.

Stephen Daley, Executive Director of Radkids, states that Radkids teaches the kids to have the attitude of “How dare you touch me” instead of “Help me, Help me”.

Radkids doesn’t teach physical resistance to violence, but teaches children how to stop or escape the violence.

    It teaches three main concepts:

1.) No one has the right to hurt them

2.) The children don’t have the right to hurt anyone, including their self, unless someone is physically hurting them. Children are taught how to stop the violence. (Children are taught about drug use and other things that may harm their bodies) The program focuses on a lot of positive physiological training.

3.) It’s not the child’s fault when someone hurts them.

Radkids kids has over 66 documented saves from abduction and only 5 incidents the kids had to use physical force.
