Jr. Police Academy:

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office began the Police Athletic League in early 2009, which is a Juvenile Crime Prevention program. One of the activities PAL has to offer is our Jr. Police Academy which started in the summer of 2009. This program selects approximately 30 kids per class throughout Benton County and teaches them all aspects of Law Enforcement. Each division from the Sheriff’s Office is involved in teaching the students how they perform their daily duties. Some of the topics covered during the week long program are listed below.
